Gates of Heaven Honey

In 2004 we made the move to go from one hobby hive, to 120 productive hives. This year we will keep over 740 hives. We live here with our bee's at 7,500 ft. a top the western slope of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Our bee's forage on 7,000 acres of Alfalfa, Clover and Sage on the pristine lands of the Benedictine Monastery of Old Snowmass, Colorado.

We are the beekeepers; we build the boxes, tend the bees and watch over every part of the process of bringing this rarities of honeys to market. Harvesting and extracting the honey that is foraged on this untouched and virtually untraveled area of Alfalfa, Sage, and Clover give this honey its 'Water White' quality. A smooth taste with a sharp finish. Truly the finest flavor in honey today.

Pure, raw and cold strained, our honey is never heated. Bright clear yellow in color, this honey will crystallize after time making a wonderfully smooth spread. Warm it gently to bring it back to its original consistency.

Enjoy by the tablespoon or with fruit's and cheese's. Add to your favorite recipes that call for honey. You will notice a flavor unlike any other you can find.
